How To Make a Watch Drawer There comes a time when your watch collection outgrows your nightstand. So you put them in the valet on top of your dresser, but that doesn't last long, so you buy a watch box. Then it outgrows the box, so you get another box, and another. Then maybe a bigger box. Then you give yourself a silly name and start blogging about your mania as if it was normal. Finally, you either get professional help, or you find a more practical and flexible storage solution. Obviously, I don't have a watch problem (Back off, man! The Time Bum can stop whenever he wants!), so I opted for better storage. Citizen has launched a new watch which features unorthodox traits for a product of this Japanese brand – primarily the fact that it is equipped with a self-winding mechanical movement. The newcomer named Signature Grand Touring Automatic includes three hands and a date as its sole indications. It is likewise distinguished by its crown protector system which contributes to the raised waterproofness of 200 meters. I like the way the Fortis B-47 Calculator watch was review in A Blog To Watch; "....the Swiss ETA 2893-2 automatic movement contained inside of the watch is only about as big as the time dial. The rest of the space in the case is used for special secret Fortis purposes (hot air). Such hot air is really popular in watches actually - Swiss and otherwise. It is a special ingredient in horological design and manufacturing that is often referred to internally as 'luxury sauce,' or 'la creme de luxe' in the French speaking parts."
