In 1969 Seiko made the world’s first ever quartz watch which was called the Astron and thus changing the watch industry forever. Now the company have made the Astron GPS watch which is another first for the company. It is the first self powered watch in the world which is able to work out the time wherever you are in the world just by using data from GPS satellites. The fact that it’s a solar powered movement means it never needs a battery change and means theoretically the watch should never lose time. Water resistant up to 100 metres.
