Konstantin Chaykin is a renowned Russian watchmaker. The watch’s exotic sounding name Lunokhod is in fact also the name of the first lunar rover to land on the Moon. The massive 50 mm case is made of wootz which in terms of its characteristics closely resembles Damascus steel which is used for swords and knife blades. To keep up with this extraordinary design the hours and minutes are also indicated in an unusual way – with the help of a semi-circle scale and instead of hour and minute hands there is a little moving sun and a little moving moon while the seconds are shown by a sub-dial at 6 o’clock. All this is set in motion with a unique caliber developed and patented by Konstantin Chaykin. Price – USD 100,000.
These are random photos and videos that are collated for prosperity sake. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!.........
