The Chopard L.U.C. Lunar One is a perpetual calendar with an orbital moon phase display. The moon phase display is positioned at 6 o'clock and exhibits the phases of the moon in an ingenious and unique manner with the precision of deviation of one day in 122 years. Unique because inside the small seconds sub-dial the moon rotates around an axis and hence it’s called orbital moon phase display. Time is displayed in the traditional format but the numbers are replaced by Roman numerals. The watch has two additional sub-dials excluding the moon phase indicator; the one at 3 o'clock indicates months and leap years and the one at 9 o'clock displays days of the week and also acts a 24-hour indicator. Also at 12 o'clock two windows display the date. The watch is water resistant to 50 meters and is fitted with a hand-stitches black Alligator strap. The diameter of the watch is 43mm the case is made of 18K rose gold and has a 70-hour power reserve. The Lunar One uses automatic self-winding COSC movement which comprises of 32 jewels and the dial is silver-toned and satin brushed. Price – USD 63,600.
