Longines Asthmometer-Pulsometer Chronograph. Longines indicates that this new instrument is based on a model brought out in 1963 which was intended essentially for medical use; though the Longines Asthmometer-Pulsometer Chronograph is a healthcare instrument in the broadest sense (the red heart rate scale and the blue respiration scale can be easily read off from the outer edge of the silvered dial), it is also a largely symbolic piece in contrast to today’s world of digital-based instruments.
