Takashi Murakami x Hajime Asaoka "Death Takes No Bribe” Tourbillon Watch. The talented animation artist Takashi Murakami has teamed up with independent Japanese watchmaker Hajime Asaoka for a custom watch. Over three years of meticulous planning and designing has been put into the "Death Takes No Bribe,” tourbillon movement timepiece. The style of Murakami is totally visible here with flowers and skull imagery providing a look into dark humor. The watch is based on Mr Asaoka's Tourbillon #1, which was his first commercial production wristwatch (the second is a hand wind with a remarkably large 16 mm balance) with a 42 mm steel case and one minute tourbillon.
